Lessons & Coaching

Our training philosophy emphasises private lessons for individualized attention, with scheduled small group sessions and specialized clinics for additional schooling. Students lesson on average 2x/week, adding practice sessions in-between.

Lessons are offered for all levels of riding from ages 5 to adult. Students are taught from the ground up; proper grooming, tacking/untacking, and bathing is taught in addition to skills in the saddle. One of our seasoned riding school horses can provide a fun learning experience to those who do not own or lease. Trailer-ins are welcome as well.

NEW STUDENTS please download and bring in the Rider Release Form to your first lesson.

Horsemanship camps are available for children ages 7 to 12 years.  For our older students (as well as our youngsters), we offer several clinics and training workshops throughout the year, both on-farm and off.

Having a solid foundation of knowledge on how to work safely around horses on the ground is just as important as knowing how to ride them. Our camps and clinics give students a fun, safe, hands-on opportunity to learn and engage in all facets of horsemanship. Proper grooming, tacking and bathing skills, basic first aid, wrapping and booting, and care of horses in different climates, combined with educational games to learn parts of the horse, equipment, colors and markings are just some of the elements one could expect to see taught in one of our camps or clinics, all presented in an age and level appropriate manner.
